Hey,
Hanna Delaney is a sci fi, horror and speculative fiction author from Liverpool, UK. Her works have been inspired by sci fi authors like Ursula K Le Guin, Philip K Dick and her other works are inspired by authors like Shirley Jackson, Angela Carter and Wilkie Collins.
Hanna’s debut sci fi novel Oceanus– a reimagining of The Tempest by William Shakespeare- was published in 2024. Since then it has had a second edition published with Tiny Worlds.
Her other works include the Muldoon supernatural thriller series: Gothic thrillers that combine police procedural with supernatural horror. They are set in her home city of Liverpool, but in the 1890s.
Hanna lives in Liverpool with her husband and three daughters. Hanna has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Popular Literatures from Liverpool Hope University. Hanna was an English teacher before becoming an author in 2024.
